Lucy Bronze out of England’s SheBelieves title defence with calf injury

Lucy Bronze has withdrawn from England’s squad for the defence of their SheBelieves Cup title.
The Lyon full-back, that had been named UEFA Women’s Player of the Year in 2019, has been replaced in the squad from North Carolina Tar Heels ahead Alessia Russo.
Russo, 21, was capped up into the major squad was named as a coaching player for the Lionesses’ SheBelieves Cup effort.
University of South Carolina shield Anna Patten takes her place.
Bronze tweeted:”Disappointed not to be fit for camp. However, a good prospect for some fresh faces. Great luck girls.
“Have not missed a single camp and be present at every single game for the past 5 decades. Gonna have massive FOMO next week.”
Bronze will stay on the problem in France for treatment.
England’s title defence starts USA on March 5 in Orlando, three days 31, before facing Japan at New Jersey on March 8 and Spain in Frisco.
